We grew our business from the love of a crafting and now Craftywafty is a community of crafters with similar interests. We enjoy what we do and know how to do it, we found which tools and equipment we like, the brands that supply the best products and we import those products to the UK so you don't have to worry about that, and now we are sharing our community and knowledge with you, to give you the best experience of crafting.

Debbie
Insisted on having two pictures. Creative genius bordering on insane. A real product specialist.
For me crafting is all about passion. Some would say it’s the ‘squirrel’ effect and needing to try new ideas and techniques. So that’s why I have a lot of fingers (and toes) in a lot of crafting pies.
Like Suzie, I started with knitting - taught by my Nan, made a petticoat and dolphin at school, and made Welsh rarebit in cookery. I love to try all kinds of crafts from knitting, hand quilting, cross stitch and embroidery, to screen printing and recently just got into crochet - and I’m making all sorts of lovely things!
I love paper crafts too such as card making, 3D projects - which I like to design myself, Scanncut projects, scrapbooking and memory albums, book folding, quilling and .... I think you get the idea!
But that’s not all. I also have a passion for cake decorating, cookery, confectionary, baking and all things yummy
Like I said, I love a bit of everything and never want to miss out when anything new comes onto the crafting market.
And for me, the best compliment I could possible receive is when I’ve made something by my own fair hands, and the recipient says ‘wow, that’s amazing, how did you make that?’
So, my wish is that you will be inspired by Craftywafty, and want to try something new or different. And I can’t wait to see all your lovely makes on our Facebook page too!

I’ve been crafting since I can remember… like most girls I started off being taught how to knit and crochet by my Mum, then sidestepped into cross-stitch and embroidery. At school whilst the rest of my class sewed their summer uniform dresses, I made a stuffed elephant – I still have him too! Later on, I discovered patchwork and quilting - and a new passion was born.
Nowadays I spend my time scrapbooking and making interactive albums and 3d projects from scratch. If I can’t find the papers I want to buy, I will use inks, stamps, and stencils to create my own papers. Sometimes it’s the only way to showcase a series of photographs and memories, giving my albums a real personal touch. And of course, I have the fun of creating my own patterns and papers too – any excuse to get my fingers inky! My favourite seasons are Halloween and Christmas, and lots of my projects centre around these festive times.
I’m a member of several online forums and follow some fabulous crafters who all have their own unique style; watching their videos gives me the encouragement to try out new ideas and develop my own style. I’m a very visual learner; if I can watch somebody do something it gives me the incentive to try it myself. I’m hoping to learn how to make my own pasta in the near future – watch this space to see how I get on!
